Salvioni Milano Durini presents the new window signed by Laurameroni
In an intertwining of metals and finishes, the unparalleled elegance of the Laurameroni brand has shown itself for Salvioni Design Solutions in a new exhibition space of great quality, a perfect element of suggestion placed in the window of the showroom in via Durini where art and design are already intertwined in a finely studied whole.
The new set-up was created for the celebration of the company’s 20th year of activity. Halfway between an industrial company and a local craftsman, Laurameroni is today a number one international company in the processing of surfaces and furniture customization. Art and design live in a single life in its products, creating extremely suggestive spaces in balance between aesthetics and design research.
The added value of Laurameroni lies in the “Surface Design”, an expression coined to define the highly personal treatment that this company reserves for the surfaces of each single piece of furniture in order to create unique tactile sensations for the surfaces of furniture, wall panels, doors and lamps. The top example of “Surface Design” is the Maxima collection, created in 1999 by Bartoli Design and composed of a variety of very simple furniture models, animated by the iconic “Maxima” random motif.
The spearhead of this collection, the iconic Maxima sideboard has found a place together with other Laurameroni products in the Salvioni Milano Durini window, where it displays its own brilliant special edition of copper powders expertly applied to the surface and meticulously hand-polished.
The suggestive “Liquid Metal” finish here creates a warm intertwining of rosy reds, enhanced by the Drapè sofas entirely upholstered in velvet with upholstered seat. The particular processing of these round and rotating elements is given by an irregular pleating capable of giving uniqueness to each single piece.
No less remarkable are the Drapé Lounge swivel armchairs, comfortable variants of a model capable of adapting to any environment, in turn flanked by the Shadow coffee tables whose lacquered metal structure creates an attractive contemporary design.
The Line boiserie system designed by Cesare Arosio was chosen as a backdrop for these elements of great visual impact, which, thanks to vertical and horizontal channels in gold or brown finish, decorates the ebony surface with a rhythmic sequence that is in turn enhanced from the “Clis” lighting conceived by Bartoli Design.
This system of minute jewel-lamps is characterized by the disc shape of each element created by the union of interchangeable magnetic covers supported by slender cables. The infinite configuration possibilities of this system leave room for imagination and customization to obtain unique compositions.
