Salvioni Milano Durini | The new window signed by Knoll
Salvioni Milano Durini inaugurates a new window designed by Knoll, a leading brand in the production of designer furniture. The space on Via Durini welcomes the first cold autumn weather with elegant tones, dominated by clear color choices such as red and black, gray and gold. Knoll’s choice is sober and sophisticated and includes some of the company’s greatest classics, an example of how taste never goes out of fashion but rather improves over time.
Upon entering, the visitor is greeted by two living areas, the first dominated by the Wassily armchairs and the Perron Pillo sofa in strictly black shades; the second warmed by a burnished red Womb Chair and a Saarinen marble table. The dark and sophisticated tones are perfect for enhancing the shapes and translating the play of volumes desired by the company, where the surfaces intertwine with each other creating an environment that dialogues both visually and conceptually.
A large curtain divides this first composition from a second one located further inside, orchestrated to offer a slightly more intimate version of the living area. The black colors give way to blue, white and silver flaunted by the famous Florence Knoll sofa and the even more iconic Platner armchairs accompanied by the Saarinen and Platner coffee tables. These unmistakable elements of the Knoll collection give life to a sober and welcoming environment, the ideal example of a living room where you can converse and spend pleasant hours alone or in company.
The installation features exceptional lighting designed by two major partners in the sector: Oluce and AND Light, here present with the Column lamp in a suspended version. The assortment of floor, table and ceiling lamps has been designed to spread a soft golden shade throughout the space, ideal for enhancing the cold elegance of the Knoll furnishings.
The final touch is represented by the rugs by Woodnotes, a Finnish brand specializing in the production of paper yarns, whose style fits perfectly into the whole.
