Perugia Resort
The Borgo dei Conti resort, located in a large estate immersed in the peaceful Umbrian Apennines, is the outcome of a successful redevelopment and renovation project conducted in accordance with tradition.
The wide construction, a former noble property, presents neo-gothic and eclectic stylistic inflections and it is surrounded by a large park of over 20 hectares. It offers 55 rooms, 8 flats, wellness spaces, common areas and a restaurant.
Both the interior design project and the choice of products and materials have been entirely developed by Salvioni, while the furnishing supplies has been entrusted to the best brands in the field.
The spacious common areas, characterised by the old coffered ceilings of the villa, are revived by contemporary furniture (Chesterfield sofas and the Renzo Piano crystal bookcase) which coexists in full harmony with the pre-existing environment.
The multifunctional conference room was obtained from an old storage warehouse completely renovated and furnished with elegant leather armchairs.
In the old Limonaia area, a restaurant hall has been placed whose lighting was studied in collaboration with Flos Light Contract office.
The rooms have been designed by Poliform Contract Division on Salvioni’s project, starting from a location where each space had different characteristics for size, plan and materials. The bleached wooden flooring with dark wood furniture represents a leitmotif in the project harmonizing the proposal. The design plan has also included the choice of Athena Collection curtains and Flos lighting.
In the suite rooms, the historical features of the pre-existing structure earn more relevance, such as the twin doors, the decorated fireplaces and ceilings. It is in this frame that Poliform, B&B Italia and Flos products are elegantly and lightly placed.
