Flat in London

This project, carried out in collaboration with the architect Marco D’Azzo, affected a Victorian house in London which had undergone an unaligned refurbishment  with its style and past, before Salvioni’s intervention.

In the living area, the antique atmosphere coexists with the presence of contemporary products designed by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia. The walls are decorated with photographic prints by Pino Musi.

The architect introduced ceiling plaster frames and smoked oak wood flooring which give back a sense of belonging to its own era to the house. Both design and installation of all custom furniture was handled by Salvioni following the architect’s project

The sleeping area is completely custom made, both the bed headboard and one wall in oiled oak wood. The contiguous bathroom receives light from the master bedroom window coming through a Saint-Gobain’s Priva-Lite glass wall, which can turn from transparent to opaline depending on the necessity.

In the hallway, oak and mirror sliding panels give access to large storage units with wardrobe function.

An elegant apartment that satisfies discreet tastes.
