The SuonareStella X IED project continues

The new chapter of the collaboration involving the influencer SuonareStella, IED Milano and Salvioni Design Solutions reaches the showroom windows on Via Durini and results in a new installation conceived by the three design students Ilinca Moisă, Zhazira Akhmet and Laura Tavera.

The Shift presents itself as a first living element that welcomes visitors and puts them at ease through the use of soft hues and color combinations tending toward pastel. The central elements of this space are the Gruuve sofas by Moroso and Aura by Baxter, two upholstered pieces of furniture that look at each other favoring conversation and the creation of an extremely intimate and relaxed context. Prominent among them are the Haumea and Monete coffee tables by Gallotti&Raduce, Shiny Gogan and Nanook by Moroso, and Liquid and Tebe by Baxter, perfect for filling the scene and creating numerous points of support. The comfort doesn’t stop there, however, thanks to Baxter’s large Aura ottoman in orange hues, an element that not only stands out from its context, but is capable of creating an extremely fascinating focal point. Dominating the scene is the large wallpaper by WallPepper® whose design was done directly by the three designers. The proposed figure embodies the whole concept of “Reach for the Stella,” where a small central prince is surrounded by spatial elements and phrases directly taken from the book.

The Stella is a more sumptuous and elegant environment, where the playful hues of The Shift give way to gold, brown and ochre hues. The area echoes the bow window of Paolo Stella’s house, recalling its collected form and architectural elements depicted by a WallPepper® wallpaper. Elegant curtains by Roberto Molteni Interior help create the feeling that one could at any moment look out on the other side, catching a glimpse of the unseen Milanese panorama. In the center of this space stands the Re-Verre table by Gallotti&Radice surrounded by So Far chairs by Baxter. An assortment of Oluce’s Sonora lamps in different sizes helps create a cozy, vaguely intimate atmosphere, an ideal prelude to conversation.

Further inland winds Garden of the Soul, a third, larger living space, once again softened by the muted hues chosen by the designers but embellished by two important elements: a Sonora lamp by Oluce in a custom-made finish and WallPepper® wallpaper on which a particularly inspired quote from the “Little Prince” stands out, the centerpiece of the entire project. Taking center stage are Gallotti&Radice’s Audrey Motion sofa and Baxter’s Pillow armchair flanked by Moroso’s Bouquet armchair in pink and red hues. Placed between them are Gallotti&Radice’s Haumea and Monete coffee tables, Moroso’s Mangiafuoco coffee table as well as Baxter’s Jove coffee table. Further behind, two Rafiki bookcases by Baxter and a large curtain by Roberto Molteni Interior separated the room from the offices behind.

In addition to these “load-bearing” elements, the layout features numerous other details that, although they are on the fringes of the scene, play a very important binding function between the environments, creating a fil-rouge between them. We are referring to the Rows sideboard by Gallotti&Radice placed on the walkway leading to the showroom’s interior offices, the Hanami desk by Gallotti&Radice juxtaposed with the 0414 armchair, also by Gallotti&Radice, which embody the studiolo also present in Paolo Stella’s apartment, and three pieces of furniture that straddle the line between The Stella and Garden of the Soul: the Soft Heart armchair by Moroso, the Selce coffee table by Gallotti&Radice, and the magnificent Hide&Seek sideboard by Gallotti&Radice.

In all of this, the lighting points offered by Oluce stand out, which in addition to the more obvious Sonora lamps already described, enrich the space with numerous table and floor proposals such as the Atollo, Cylinda, Medusa, Pascal, Spider, Dora, Coupè, Superluna and G.O lamp; a varied assortment that is indispensable for creating the right atmosphere in any environment.

The “Reach for the Stella” exhibit will be on view until the end of March, at which time it will give way to the new exhibit dedicated to the Salone del Mobile 2025.

We look forward to seeing you there!
