Resting Bear Ottoman
Price € 1.125,00
An anthropomorphic ottoman, capable of communicating softness and comfort at first glance. The Vitra Resting Animals collection is the result of a study carried out by Fronte to associate the natural physicality of animals with common furnishing elements. The resulting result has led to the creation of numerous furnishing objects that suggest their function from an emotional point of view and at the same time the character of the animal represented here in an almost symbolic key. Resting Bear, precisely, represents a bear in a lethargic state, with the body lying limply on the ground in the act of resting or dozing. Available in a variety of colors and finishes, this ottoman amazes for its softness and simplicity.

Swiss by birth, Vitra is a unique company in many ways. Unique in its home collections, light and colorful; unique in its office furnishings, which combine in a masterful implementation design and ergonomics; unique for the designer parterre that enriches its catalog. Among prestigious historical re-enactments and fruitful collaborations, Vitra has always had the ability to relive the past and project to the future. However, Vitra is unique above all for Rolf Fehlbaum's corporate address, where the company transcends the business to fulfill wider social and cultural functions: the creation of a unique project such as Vitra Campus and the annexed Vitra Design Museum is an example.Read more

Front is an innovative Swedish design studio, all with a feminine twist. It was founded in 2004 by a group of four former students of the prestigious Konstfack University of Stockholm: Sofia Lagerkvist (1972-) and Anna Lindgren (1974-), still partners of the firm, who for many years were also joined by Charlotte van der Lancken (1978-) and Katja Sävström (1972-). They immediately get great international attention thanks to surprising and innovative design performances such as "Design by Animals", in which the final shape of the objects is decided by the interaction between an animal and a first prototype, or "Sketch Furniture", where a pioneering use of 3D printing allows them to give life to objects drawn in the moment by sketching their shapes in the air. Avant-garde verve and attention to the animal world are also found in collaborations with major brands such as Moooi, Porro, Tom Dixon, Vitra, Moroso, Axor, Driade, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna and many others.
