Belleville is the name of the French quarter where the studio of Ronan & Erwan Bourellec, creators of Vitra's iconic Belleville chair, resides. The peculiarity of this seat consists in the union of two distinct parts, frame and shell, both characterized by soft and sinuous lines designed to satisfy the body. The first, made of molded polyamide, guarantees strength and flexibility, while the second is in curved plywood. The beauty of this model has allowed the birth of numerous variants over the years, including the Belleville Wood chair and the Belleville Armchair Wood and Fabric, denoted by the presence of wider and more visible arms to lean on. Nevertheless, we mention the outdoor version of this piece of furniture, more resistant to the elements thanks to the exclusive use of plastics for the outdoor.

Ronan (1971-) and Erwan (1976-) Bouroullec are two French brothers, protagonists of the world of great international design for over twenty years.
