Formakami Pendant Light

Price € 234,00
From the genius of Jaime Hayon comes Formakami, a lamp that has been able to draw its elegant shape and inspiration from the East, tracing the design of the traditional Chinese lantern whose suggestion we all know. The designer wanted to propose a playful modification of the traditional rice paper lamp, re-adapting it in a more contemporary key. In a perfect synthesis of style, Hayon has opted for a white color to decline in the many different models in shape and size. An object that finds its place in diversified environments thanks to its recognizable and at the same time unexpected style.

Jaime Hayon
Jaime Hayon (1974-) is a Spanish artist and designer, one of the most important names in the panorama of contemporary design. After his studies in Madrid and Paris, he took his first steps in the world of design as a teacher at the Fabrica research center in Treviso, founded by the Benetton family and Oliviero Toscarini, and then revealed himself to the world with the exhibition "Mediterranean Digital Baroque" at the David Gill Gallery in London. In the field of furniture he has worked with brands such as BD Barcelona Design, Fritz Hansen, Magis, Viccarbe, Ceccotti, Wittmann, Moooi, Cassina and many others, with furniture to which its typical wavy and light sign gives a strong charge of expressiveness. However, it is in the design of the object that he is able to unleash all his disruptive creativity, giving life to colorful and playful accessories that often take the form of real sculptures, made for brands such as Bosa, Paola C., Lladrò and Vista Alegre.Read more
