A lamp with an exclusive flavour, born from the creative genius of Tom Dixon and has come down to us to radiate domestic and non-home environments with its enchanting beauty. Tom Dixon's Mirror Ball floor lamp draws its inspiration from the famous space helmet and stroboscopic lights to create a light yet tremendously resistant object, capable of being placed in different situations according to taste. When turned off, the bubbles that make up the structure become similar to reflecting mirrors, while when turned on, each of them radiates a soft and multifaceted light. This lamp is available in different shades and sizes.

Tom Dixon (1959-) is one of the most famous and appreciated contemporary British designers. Born in Tunisia and moved to the UK at an early age, he did a variety of jobs in his youth, from nightclub promoter to bassist in a punk band. Passionate about motorcycles, he learned the techniques of welding in order to carry out the repairs himself, and from there he became interested in Ron Arad's design experiments with metal, which brought him closer to the London underground art and design circles. Like Arad, his first works centered around the use of metallic materials and were based on a post-industrial and recycled aesthetic. At the beginning of the 90s he was noticed by Giulio Cappellini, who gave him the opportunity to compete with series production and make himself known by the great international audience. Since 1998 he has been called to the management of Habitat, the largest English furniture chain, and promotes a radical renewal of the brand's image. Starting from 2002 he decided to go on his own to be able to convey his aesthetics without compromise, founding and leading to success a brand that bears his name - Tom Dixon Ltd. - mainly dedicated to the production of lamps and objects.Read more
