Riva 1920 is a company specialized in woodworking and in the creation of furnishings that make the most of the potential of this ductile and malleable material, perfect for creating furnishings with a unique flavor that is difficult to replicate. Maui was born from Terry Dwan's genius in giving life to a chair with soft and delicate features, perfect for accommodating the body. Maui is made of solid scented cedar and worked from a single block as a sculptural monolith with a curvilinear and sinuous design. The seat is ergonomic and merged with the backrest to create visual and conceptual harmony. It is available in the version with or without base with tubular leg and iron plate.

In 1990, Riva1920 marries the culture of reforestation by starting the production of solid cherry wood furniture which will be followed by other reused woods such as the millenary Kauri from New Zealand, the Briccole from the Venice Lagoon and the Cedar from Lebanon.
