The Sixty coffee table by Rimadesio, signed like all the rest of the brand's collections by Giuseppe Bavuso, takes on a distinct personality thanks to the unusual design of the aluminum structural profile. The frame, with markedly rounded corners and without edges that give the structure a particularly gentle flow, creates in fact a sort of “cage” that frames two superimposed levels, of equal shapes and sizes. The two tops can also share the same materials, thus giving the table a monolithic and uniform appearance, or they can be made in different finishes, in a game of contrasts that adds variety to the sculptural lines of the table.* Technical features: with upper top in wood, lower top available only in glossy or matt lacquered glass

Founded in the heart of Brianza's furnishings district, since the 1956 Rimadesio has created innovative furnishings solutions by handcrafting complex materials. Since the inception, the distinctive elements of the company have been glass, which is still the company’s emblem all over the world 50 years later, followed by aluminum and wood, typical elements of the design sector. Under the enterprise impetus of Francesco Malberti and Luigi Riboldi, Rimadesio has specialized its technique in glass processing over the years , later expanding the range of materials used through the experimental approach that has always characterized the brand.Read more

Giuseppe Bavuso (1959-) is an appreciated Italian architect and designer. One of his main characteristics is his meticulous technical expertise, combined with a sober aesthetic and a strong focus on the use of materials, which allow him to successfully compete with projects of great complexity. Bavuso's design does not neglect elegance, but he also knows how to highlight the performance and durability of the product. His name is particularly linked to that of the Rimadesio brand, with which he has collaborated since 1986 and for which he is responsible for the design of the entire collection. The Rimadesio-Giuseppe Bavuso combination represents one of the most significant synergies between designer and company in the entire panorama of contemporary design. This has allowed the brand to broaden its horizons, becoming a market leader also in the door sector, as well as starting a path of impetuous international growth that has not yet ended. Among the brands he has worked with are Ernestomeda for the kitchen, Poliform for the wardrobes and Alivar for the upholstered seats.Read more
