Self Up Sideboard
Horizontal
The Self Up sideboard is an articulation of the Self storage system, the cornerstone of the Rimadesio proposal for the living area and beyond. Supported by thin and elegant aluminium feet, Self Up is a storage unit characterized by the utmost formal lightness. Leaning on a real furnishing system, Self Up allows an almost infinite variety of compositions: it can also take the form of a sideboard or chest of drawers, it can provide for the insertion of open compartments or drawers and can provide for doors and structure a great variety of finishes, ensured by the 70 colors available for the finishes thanks to Rimadesio's Ecolorsystem program. The doors can also be made of glass or ribbed wood, with a pleasant and refined retro effect.

Under the enterprise impetus of Francesco Malberti and Luigi Riboldi, Rimadesio has specialized its technique in glass processing over the years , later expanding the range of materials used through the experimental approach that has always characterized the brand.Read more
Designed by
Giuseppe Bavuso
Giuseppe Bavuso (1959-) is an appreciated Italian architect and designer. One of his main characteristics is his meticulous technical expertise, combined with a sober aesthetic and a strong focus on the use of materials, which allow him to successfully compete with projects of great complexity. Bavuso's design does not neglect elegance, but he also knows how to highlight the performance and durability of the product. His name is particularly linked to that of the Rimadesio brand, with which he has collaborated since 1986 and for which he is responsible for the design of the entire collection. The Rimadesio-Giuseppe Bavuso combination represents one of the most significant synergies between designer and company in the entire panorama of contemporary design. This has allowed the brand to broaden its horizons, becoming a market leader also in the door sector, as well as starting a path of impetuous international growth that has not yet ended. Among the brands he has worked with are Ernestomeda for the kitchen, Poliform for the wardrobes and Alivar for the upholstered seats.Read more
