Rimadesio
Long Island Table
Squared
Long Island is a minimalist but at the same time technically refined table, in line with the traditional Rimadesio philosophy that combines cold and essential shapes with complex and highly valuable constructive solutions. Its clean lines are strongly inspired by the school of Rationalism and see their fulcrum in the four very thin legs in die-cast aluminum, on which rests a top that can be customized in a variety of finishes. In addition to the fixed version, Long Island is also available as an extendable table, guided by an invisible and sophisticated mechanism.* Technical features: the versions with lacquered glass top can be equipped with cable ducts

Founded in the heart of Brianza's furnishings district, since the 1956 Rimadesio has created innovative furnishings solutions by handcrafting complex materials. Under the enterprise impetus of Francesco Malberti and Luigi Riboldi, Rimadesio has specialized its technique in glass processing over the years , later expanding the range of materials used through the experimental approach that has always characterized the brand.Read more
Designed by
Giuseppe Bavuso
Giuseppe Bavuso (1959-) is an appreciated Italian architect and designer. One of his main characteristics is his meticulous technical expertise, combined with a sober aesthetic and a strong focus on the use of materials, which allow him to successfully compete with projects of great complexity. Bavuso's design does not neglect elegance, but he also knows how to highlight the performance and durability of the product. His name is particularly linked to that of the Rimadesio brand, with which he has collaborated since 1986 and for which he is responsible for the design of the entire collection. The Rimadesio-Giuseppe Bavuso combination represents one of the most significant synergies between designer and company in the entire panorama of contemporary design. This has allowed the brand to broaden its horizons, becoming a market leader also in the door sector, as well as starting a path of impetuous international growth that has not yet ended. Among the brands he has worked with are Ernestomeda for the kitchen, Poliform for the wardrobes and Alivar for the upholstered seats.Read more
