The Alambra Isola chest of drawers is an exclusive Rimadesio product for the sleeping area, designed to be placed inside walk-in wardrobes or in the center of the room in large and airy environments. It is part of the wider family of Alambra containers, from which it takes the subtle sign of the frame, the slender but solid aluminium feet and the pleasure of transparency games. It can be composed in various ways, with open compartments or large drawers, but it is always characterized by the large upper transparent glass top that showcases its contents. Giuseppe Bavuso (1959-) is an appreciated Italian architect and designer. One of his main characteristics is his meticulous technical expertise, combined with a sober aesthetic and a strong focus on the use of materials, which allow him to successfully compete with projects of great complexity. Bavuso's design does not neglect elegance, but he also knows how to highlight the performance and durability of the product. His name is particularly linked to that of the Rimadesio brand, with which he has collaborated since 1986 and for which he is responsible for the design of the entire collection. The Rimadesio-Giuseppe Bavuso combination represents one of the most significant synergies between designer and company in the entire panorama of contemporary design. This has allowed the brand to broaden its horizons, becoming a market leader also in the door sector, as well as starting a path of impetuous international growth that has not yet ended. Among the brands he has worked with are Ernestomeda for the kitchen, Poliform for the wardrobes and Alivar for the upholstered seats.Read more
