Rimadesio
Ala High Chest with Drawers
The Ala weekly by Rimadesio is a storage unit for the sleeping area that takes the form of a real casket: the large windows in reflective transparent glass, lockable, embrace and protect a series of valuable walnut drawers with "a dovetail ". The drawers seem to float in the void, suspended on a hidden internal structure, enveloping the magazine in an aura of wonder and magic. As always happens in Rimadesio production, it is the details that make the difference: there is not a single screw in the entire product, thanks to the special technologies and gluing used for the joints of the elements.* Technical features: available in a single finish with upper top and back in matt bronze lacquered glass, doors in clear reflective glass, drawers in walnut, door and handle profiles in 303 bronze finish

Designed by
Giuseppe Bavuso
Giuseppe Bavuso (1959-) is an appreciated Italian architect and designer. One of his main characteristics is his meticulous technical expertise, combined with a sober aesthetic and a strong focus on the use of materials, which allow him to successfully compete with projects of great complexity. Bavuso's design does not neglect elegance, but he also knows how to highlight the performance and durability of the product. His name is particularly linked to that of the Rimadesio brand, with which he has collaborated since 1986 and for which he is responsible for the design of the entire collection. The Rimadesio-Giuseppe Bavuso combination represents one of the most significant synergies between designer and company in the entire panorama of contemporary design. This has allowed the brand to broaden its horizons, becoming a market leader also in the door sector, as well as starting a path of impetuous international growth that has not yet ended. Among the brands he has worked with are Ernestomeda for the kitchen, Poliform for the wardrobes and Alivar for the upholstered seats.Read more
