Nika Zupanc
Nika Zupanc (1974-) is a famous Slovenian designer. Her works are characterized by a charming sign not afraid to flirt with kitsch, giving life to fashionable and flashy creations capable of always arousing great attention. She draws much of her inspiration from theater and cinema, and has stated that one of her aspirations is to "make the users of her creations feel like actors". Launched by Marva Griffin in her Satellite Salon, Nika Zupanc opened in 2008 to dedicate herself to the design of furniture, lamps and special installations. His first important collaboration was with the Moooi brand, which was followed over the years by works for brands such as Qeeboo, Sé, Ghidini 1961, Natuzzi Italia, Scaret Splendour, Lodes, Bosa, Ditre Italia, Driade, De Castelli and many others Still. Alongside these collaborations, she continues to carry out a series of self-produced experimental furnishings, exhibited in prestigious galleries such as the Milanese Rossana Orlandi, and special projects for big names in fashion and automobiles such as Dior and Porsche.
