Squash is made up of two blocks of lacquered wood, separated by a central cushion covered in the precious Pelle Frau ColorSphere, to match the other blocks. The available color combinations are not unlimited, but designed to best enhance the possibilities of the Frau catalog and the available nuances. As always, the expert use of leather enhances the aesthetic sign, highlighting the conceptual choice made by the company.

Poltrona Frau brings in any kind of environment, from home to office, its characteristic taste for leather-covered furnishings. The company grew out from the intuition of Renzo Frau who, moving in Torino, founded his workshop in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The Piedmont city was the ideal stage for the proposals of the young entrepreneur.
From the beginning, Poltrona Frau furnishings attract the attentions of the bourgeoisie and the Savoy Aristocracy, strongly fascinated by the international taste. The company’s collections embodied the timeless beauty of the Made in Italy design, despite a remarkable stylistic inflection in the Edoardian taste. In those years came to life iconic products such as the historic model 904, better known as Vanity Fair, the Chester armchair, which recalls the Chesterfield style, and the model 1919.Read more
Designed by
Faye Toogood
Faye Toogood (1977-) is one of the most multifaceted talents in contemporary British design. His works range from the fashion sector to the furniture sector, passing through interior design, in an irregular path that begins with a degree in Art History at the University of Bristol and then continues as a stylist at the renowned magazine " The World of Interiors” published by Condé Nast until culminating in the opening of his own studio in 2008. Both his clothes and his furnishings bear the mark of a pure aesthetic, based on ecru colours, imperfect materials and solid sculptural forms , capable of giving life to placid and contemplative environments, with an almost sacred touch. Most of her creations are marketed directly by herself through the T-O-O-G-O-O-D brand; among them the ubiquitous Roly Poly armchair stands out, a real piece of furniture-symbol of the design of the early 20s of our century. Roly Poly is also produced under license by Driade in a plastic version, while other brands Faye Toogood has collaborated with are cc-Tapis, Hem, Pease Wait to Be Seated and Bitossi Ceramiche.
