The Solaria outdoor coffee table designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba and produced by Poltrona Frau, presents a design with clean lines and a choice of materials that favors a dialogue with nature surrounding. This piece of furniture, available in the square or rectangular version, has a chalk-colored painted stainless steel structure, and a solid teak slatted top with natural finish. In the version with two tops mounted with the slats in alternating directions, it reminds to the wooden grates used mainly in the nautical field to drain the water. Extremely versatile element, it can be placed in the center of the space or inserted into the composition of the modular sofa Solaria.

Ludovica Serafini (1961-) and Roberto Palomba (1963-) are a couple of Italian architects and designers, founders of the Palomba Serafini Associati studio. Husband and wife, their products have won numerous prestigious international awards, including Elle Decoration International Design Award, Good Design Award, Red Dot Award and, above all, a Compasso d'Oro in 2011. The studio was founded in 1994 and it is based in Milan, the city where Roberto is also professor of Industrial Design at the most important university in the sector, the Politecnico. Their sober and charming products play a leading role in the offer of some of the most prestigious Italian design brands, such as Zanotta, Poltrona Frau and Foscarini.
