Portofino Folding Deck Chair
From the Portofino series of the same name, comes this deckchair with an elegant design and great beauty, capable of recalling the taste of being outdoors as well as the desire for holidays and fun. Portofino has a solid locust wood structure treated with an industrial paint cycle based on acrylic wax, available in different colors. The cover is removable and is available in different Paola Lenti fabrics, unique both for their color and for their proven resistance to prolonged use and to atmospheric agents. The absolute protagonist of Paola Lenti furnishings is color, in all its nuances, both for outdoor and indoor collections. Faded pastel tones or bright colors, the shades proposed by Paola Lenti are always unique: thanks to the constant research of the brand on yarns and textures and the personal and profound aesthetic sensibility. The attention paid to the choice of colors and the variety of fabrics are linked to harmonious and balanced shapes of the seats: essential shapes, which can also be found in indoor and outdoor rugs. This synergy of hardly imitable elements makes Paola Lenti a truly unique brand in the contemporary design scene.Read more
Designed by
Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent Van Duysen (1962-), Belgian architect and designer, is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary design sector. His mark, measured and elegant, reveals a profound awareness of space and its articulations: each product he designs is not in fact conceived as a unicum in its own right, but as part of a harmonious whole. Minimalist without being icy, Van Duysen knows how to create highly suggestive environments, in which no element is too much. After working in Milan in his youth with the stylist Cinzia Ruggeri and with the designer Aldo Cibic, he founded his studio in Antwerp in 1990 and developed it to build a team of over 20 people. He has been the art director of Molteni & C. since 2016, a brand for which he takes care of the entire coordinated image, from products to fittings. Other brands he has collaborated with are Poliform, Flos, B&B Italia, Paola Lenti, Sahco and Serax.Read more
