Moroso
Anomaly Ottoman
Price starting from € 1.793,00*
*Price valid for the version with upholstery in fabric cat. H (cod. 017).
The Anomaly ottoman by Moroso takes you to a new level of organic design: at first glance it can even seem like a living being, a docile but vaguely disturbing fantastic animal, perhaps escaped from some laboratory. This alienating effect is obtained by the designers - the Swedish designers of the Front studio - without taking refuge in easy figurative temptations, but simply making the most of the expressive possibilities of the constituent elements of a classic pouf. In Anomaly the four high feet therefore look like four paws, while the numerous irregular folds of the leather upholstery refer to the mantle of an animal. The internal padding of this surreal piece of furniture is in cold-foamed polyurethane, thus making the seat very comfortable.

Design has always been the guiding star of Moroso, even in its most courageous and avant-garde variations. This is why, under the farsighted artistic direction of Patrizia Moroso, the company was able to establish strong relationships with visionary designers from all over the world by finding them the ideal environment to create their most daring creations. This was possible also thanks to the strong roots in the artisan tradition of a land like Friuli Venezia Giulia, with its strong ethic work and its meticulous attention to quality.Read more

Front
Front is an innovative Swedish design studio, all with a feminine twist. It was founded in 2004 by a group of four former students of the prestigious Konstfack University of Stockholm: Sofia Lagerkvist (1972-) and Anna Lindgren (1974-), still partners of the firm, who for many years were also joined by Charlotte van der Lancken (1978-) and Katja Sävström (1972-). They immediately get great international attention thanks to surprising and innovative design performances such as "Design by Animals", in which the final shape of the objects is decided by the interaction between an animal and a first prototype, or "Sketch Furniture", where a pioneering use of 3D printing allows them to give life to objects drawn in the moment by sketching their shapes in the air. Avant-garde verve and attention to the animal world are also found in collaborations with major brands such as Moooi, Porro, Tom Dixon, Vitra, Moroso, Axor, Driade, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna and many others.
