Yoell Armchair
Price starting from € 2.804,00*
*Price valid for the version with wooden frame and upholstery in fabric cat. A (cod. OP01).
An armchair with a modern soul that nevertheless seems to express an exquisitely retro taste. Yoell was born from Vincent van Duysen's taste in developing the typical "hammock" shape, but adapting it to a concept completely devoted to modernity and interior design. The structure is in stained solid wood, capable of adapting to both internal and external contexts of terraces, gardens and living spaces of great elegance. The body is molded and anatomically modeled through the use of a thin layer of polyurethane which finds its natural seat by attaching to two crosspieces, lower and upper. The result promotes the sensation of being faced with a single united model, free of conjunctions, and therefore even more solid and stable.
W.65 x D.84 x H.88 cm
Seat Height 42 cm

Designed by
Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent Van Duysen (1962-), Belgian architect and designer, is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary design sector. His mark, measured and elegant, reveals a profound awareness of space and its articulations: each product he designs is not in fact conceived as a unicum in its own right, but as part of a harmonious whole. Minimalist without being icy, Van Duysen knows how to create highly suggestive environments, in which no element is too much. After working in Milan in his youth with the stylist Cinzia Ruggeri and with the designer Aldo Cibic, he founded his studio in Antwerp in 1990 and developed it to build a team of over 20 people. He has been the art director of Molteni & C. since 2016, a brand for which he takes care of the entire coordinated image, from products to fittings. Other brands he has collaborated with are Poliform, Flos, B&B Italia, Paola Lenti, Sahco and Serax.Read more
