Elegant and extremely versatile, Octave represents the ideal element for the living area, capable with its balances the perfect atmosphere in which to relax and spend pleasant hours both alone and in company. From the project by Vincent Van Duysen, the Octave sofa draws inspiration from the large windows of the skyscrapers from which you can enjoy breathtaking views. Comfortably seated, you can enjoy the pleasure of an exceptional design, articulated on wide blade feet in die-cast steel that support the base of the rectangular padded low backrests. Numerous proposals for leathers and fabrics complete the feeling of being in front of a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture. Among the linear and corner declinations, Octave has more open elements to create chaise longue or pouf to be assembled.

Collaborations with renowned international designers and technological innovation made Molteni&C. a benchmark for the whole furnishings industry. The history of the company began in 1934 when in Giussano the "Arredamenti Angelo Molteni" was founded, a small artisan workshop specialized in the production of furniture.
In the ‘40s, the company became one of the national furniture production leaders, with an exponential growth that brought the company to hire more than 60 employees, recruited among the best artisan workers.Read more

Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent Van Duysen (1962-), Belgian architect and designer, is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary design sector. His mark, measured and elegant, reveals a profound awareness of space and its articulations: each product he designs is not in fact conceived as a unicum in its own right, but as part of a harmonious whole. Minimalist without being icy, Van Duysen knows how to create highly suggestive environments, in which no element is too much. After working in Milan in his youth with the stylist Cinzia Ruggeri and with the designer Aldo Cibic, he founded his studio in Antwerp in 1990 and developed it to build a team of over 20 people. He has been the art director of Molteni & C. since 2016, a brand for which he takes care of the entire coordinated image, from products to fittings. Other brands he has collaborated with are Poliform, Flos, B&B Italia, Paola Lenti, Sahco and Serax.Read more
