Doda's design offers an evocative interpretation of the classic bergère, here revisited in a contemporary key. It is an armchair with enveloping shapes, which makes comfort one of its main features. The calibrated proportion between thicknesses and junctions of straight and curved lines creates pleasant shapes, which are well suited to be placed in living environments but also studies, bedrooms and much more. For lovers of comfort, Doda can be flanked by a practical Easy pouf that transforms it into a chaise longue. The Low version is characterized by more generous proportions and a less pronounced backrest in height.* Technical features: available in the version with internal and external structure in two different variants of the same fabric or in the version with external in leather and internal in fabric

A wide range of sober and elegant furnishings characterizes Molteni & C., where comfort and high quality standards are the constant reference points. Collaborations with renowned international designers and technological innovation made Molteni&C. a benchmark for the whole furnishings industry. In the ‘40s, the company became one of the national furniture production leaders, with an exponential growth that brought the company to hire more than 60 employees, recruited among the best artisan workers.Read more

Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani (1960-) is a famous and appreciated contemporary Italian designer. Born in Cremona and graduated from the Milan Polytechnic, he began his career in the field of Radical Design, from which he draws a taste for surprising and expressive forms and a pop taste for experimental provocation. After his studies he was able to work in Michele De Lucchi's studio and set up his first collaborations with the Memphis collective, before setting up his own business in the early 90s. One of the key experiences of his career is that of Kartell's artistic director, a role he has held for over thirty years in which he participated in the great international relaunch of the brand. For Kartell he has designed not only stands and fittings, but also various products, including in particular the collection of lamps and lighting. Other historical partnerships are those with Molteni & C., which gave him the opportunity to approach more precious and alegan projects, and with Emmemobili, which instead favors his experimental streak with visionary creations of high cabinet-making. He can count numerous other collaborations with great Italian design brands, from Foscarini and MisuraEmme, from Flos to De Padova. Also appreciated as an interior, he has also created the interiors of the Dolce & Gabbana headquarters in Milan among many projects.Read more
