Beauty and elegance mix to create an element for the sleeping area of extreme beauty, capable of expressing the personal stylistic touch of Molteni&C combined with the hand of Rodolfo Dordoni. The collaboration with the designer led to the creation of a bed with simple and pure lines, where the need for cleanliness in the sleeping area is strongly perceived. Designed as an isolated element, Aldgate integrates perfectly with different types of furniture thanks to its rounded edges covered in different materials including fabric and leather accompanied by a pewter painted perimeter frame. The rectangular-shaped backrest expresses solidity and finesse at the same time, guaranteeing uncommon comfort in every situation. At the front it has two head cushions, ideal for those who love reading in bed.

Collaborations with renowned international designers and technological innovation made Molteni&C. a benchmark for the whole furnishings industry. The history of the company began in 1934 when in Giussano the "Arredamenti Angelo Molteni" was founded, a small artisan workshop specialized in the production of furniture.
In the ‘40s, the company became one of the national furniture production leaders, with an exponential growth that brought the company to hire more than 60 employees, recruited among the best artisan workers.Read more

Rodolfo Dordoni
Rodolfo Dordoni (1954-2023) is one of the leading figures in contemporary Italian design. Refined, measured and elegant, through his creations he proposes a timeless, sober and elegant style, capable of never going out of fashion. Milanese by birth, he has had the opportunity to work with all the major brands of Italian and international design: from Poliform to Molteni & C., from Cassina to Flou, from Flos to Poltrona Frau. He was also the art director of several important brands: Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), the company that launched him in the firmament of great Italian design, yet another great discovery by the greatest talent scout in the history of design, Giulio Cappellini; Foscarini, which led to it becoming one of the leading Italian lighting brands and Roda (since 2006), with which it was the first to bring high-end luxury design to outdoor spaces. However, his greatest successes remain those obtained with Minotti, a brand that under his artistic direction (since 1998) has grown and developed on all international markets, to become one of the most shining examples of success of Made in Italy in the world.Read more
