Misuraemme
Ala Table
Semi Oval-Shaped
The perfect mix of creativity and craftsmanship gave rise to Ala, a strong and versatile table for the living area, whose proportions know how to attract the eye and intrigue design enthusiasts from all over the world. Misuraemme designs it with a round or semi-oval top, defined by an edge deliberately made to lighten the structure and make the top almost impalpable, a veil compared to the imposing legs below, which are also in balance between impalpable thicknesses and extensions of great beauty. The whole fills the eye also thanks to the care that Misuraemme has placed in the individual materials that alternate between marbles, woods and metals of great beauty.

MisuraEmme is a company that has its roots in the centuries-old craft tradition of Brianza. Throughout its long history, which began in 1902 with the foundation by the Mascheroni family, it has played a leading role in the vicissitudes of Italian design. In the years of industrialization, it has become important as one of the spearheads of the world of Made in Italy furniture, thanks to its factory of over 35,000 square meters in Mariano Comense which has guaranteed a productive force with few equals. In more recent years the brand has also distinguished itself for its marked environmental sensitivity, acquiring ecological painting systems.Read more
Designed by
Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani (1960-) is a famous and appreciated contemporary Italian designer. Born in Cremona and graduated from the Milan Polytechnic, he began his career in the field of Radical Design, from which he draws a taste for surprising and expressive forms and a pop taste for experimental provocation. After his studies he was able to work in Michele De Lucchi's studio and set up his first collaborations with the Memphis collective, before setting up his own business in the early 90s. One of the key experiences of his career is that of Kartell's artistic director, a role he has held for over thirty years in which he participated in the great international relaunch of the brand. For Kartell he has designed not only stands and fittings, but also various products, including in particular the collection of lamps and lighting. Other historical partnerships are those with Molteni & C., which gave him the opportunity to approach more precious and alegan projects, and with Emmemobili, which instead favors his experimental streak with visionary creations of high cabinet-making. He can count numerous other collaborations with great Italian design brands, from Foscarini and MisuraEmme, from Flos to De Padova. Also appreciated as an interior, he has also created the interiors of the Dolce & Gabbana headquarters in Milan among many projects.Read more
