Light and elegance together create a particularly pleasant and inspired luminous piece of furniture. From the planning of Daniel Rybakken comes a harmonious object that, from a circle, manages to give life to emotions and strong suggestions. From the Compendium family, Circle is a lamp with an essential design, whose lightness is supported by LED technology, installed in such a way as to allow direct emission of light if oriented downwards, or diffused if facing upwards. It is possible to combine up to three rings of different diameters to create different configurations of extreme beauty, adaptable to different contexts and environments of the house.

An emblematic example is the famous Costanza lamp, in which a simple touch of the dimmer - consisting of a thin bar next to the speaker - is sufficient to allow the device to switch on. Its relentless pursuit of the new has earned Luceplan the victory of seven Golden Compasses.Read more

Daniel Rybakken
Daniel Rybakken (1984-) is a Norwegian designer active in Oslo and Gothenburg, Sweden, where he completed his studies at the School of Arts & Crafts and where he lives. In 2008 he founded his studio and a few years later he was awarded the best young talent at the Salone Satellite in Milan in 2009. In the early years of his career he created works between art and design centered on the theme of light and attracted the attention of Luceplan , historic Milanese brand of lamps, which has put several of its products into production. Two of these were awarded the Compasso d'Oro, a feat that several noble colleagues missed: the Counterbalance lamp (2014) and the Ascent lamp (2016). Rybakken has also worked with two important Scandinavian brands, the Danish Hay and the Finnish Artek, as well as an episodic collaboration with the German brand e15.
