Altaj Door
The Altaj model by Lualdi is an unusual flush-to-the-wall door: usually the hinged doors belonging to this type have a minimalist look that aims at a complete mimesis inside the wall, while Altaj chooses the opposite path of a decorative style extreme. Altaj is in fact based on a very light door that can be covered with precious materials, from woven leather to richly decorated wood in the Chocolat texture, while the metal frame with a subtle but decisive sign isolates it clearly from the surrounding wall. The opening is pivotal and the core of the door is made of honeycomb.
