Patrick Jouin (1967-) is an esteemed French designer. After studying at the Ecole Nationale Supérierure de Création Industrielle, his career began under the protective wing of the most important French designer of those years, Philippe Starck, in whose studio he worked from 1995 to 1999. He then began his own designer business. , first in the field of objects and then in the field of furniture, winning the trust of big brands such as Cassina, Kartell, Zanotta, Pedrali, Porada, Leucos, Fiam Italia, Coedition and many others with its fresh and captivating style. His early career was crowned in 2009 by a solo exhibition at the Center Pompidou in Paris and by the 2011 victory of the Compasso d ’Oro for his Pasta Pot, produced by Alessi. This product was created for the famous French starred chef Alain Ducasse, with whom Jouin has been collaborating for several years, designing for him the interiors of several restaurants in Paris and New York. His other valuable collaboration is with Renault, a brand for which he designed the stands at various motor shows.Read more
