Mimì is a hanging bookcase created by Lema characterized by decisive lines, perfect to fit into our modern life. Mimì develops from a linear C-section, forming an open container with two shelves, supported in turn by a K-shaped metal structure which also acts as a dividing element to better order and place small objects, books, ornaments and much more. Thanks to the different size variations and the possibility of using a single element by combining many others along the walls, Mimì is perfect for anyone who wants to furnish his own home with style and strong personality and beyond, also multifunctional spaces such as offices, receptions and much more.

Lema has marked several key stages in the industrial history of Italian design. Some of the most important inventions of the modern modular furniture are owed to this company, such as the introduction of load-bearing systems or cabinets tailored to the customer's needs through a fully industrialized process. The heart of the company is the large factory designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in the '70s, still at the forefront of the industry, where products such as the famous wardrobe program Armadio al centimetro or the Selecta bookcase system are born.Read more
Designed by
Studio Kairos
Studio Kairos was founded in 1980 by Giuseppe Manente (1947-), Abramo Mion (1951-) and Massimo Bonetti (1949-). It is based a few kilometers from Venice and takes its name from a word that in ancient Greek indicated the "right time", the right time for a specific action. A name that is also a programmatic choice: Studio Kairos is dedicated only to a few projects, refining the details in a meticulous way, preferring to offer the market only truly innovative products that satisfy real needs. An attitude that finds particular success in the creation of complex products such as wall systems for living areas or wardrobes for the sleeping area. Just a wardrobe, the Sisamo model by B&B Italia, earned them the victory of their first and only Compasso d'Oro in 1984. In addition to the long collaboration with B&B, which has given them confidence since the first projects, they have also worked with highly technical brands such as Lema, Poliform, Molteni & C. and Dada.
