Knoll intertwines its unmistakable style with the stylistic touch of Piero Lissoni, creating a sofa with a sober and modern taste at the same time, where the search for function and simplicity is strongly perceived. Lissoni's outdoor collection was born precisely from the idea of reducing each element to a few essential lines, represented here precisely by an aluminum structure available in different colors including white, black and red. The backrest is in high-intensity molded rigid polyurethane, with cushions also in flexible polyurethane of different densities. In its different sizes, the Lissoni sofa represents an extremely simple but refined proposal, ideal for those who love to furnish with taste.

Landed in the United States at the beginning of the ‘30s, Hans Knoll, a young German-born son of a furniture-maker in Stuttgart, proposed to import into the new continent the modern European design, contemporary heritage of the Bauhaus. Died prematurely, his work was continued by his wife, Florence Knoll, who succeeded in establishing lasting partnerships with some of the greatest exponents of the modernist movement. Few years later the Knoll Associates was founded. Today, Knoll is not only a company of re-selling historic furnishings of great artistic value, but continues to innovate by offering creations of the major international design brands both in the home area and in the office furnitures sector.Read more

Piero Lissoni (1956-) is one of the most appreciated contemporary Italian designers. In addition to his furnishings, with a rigorous and elegant minimalism, he combines the ability to build and communicate the identity of the brands he collaborates with at 360 °, creating a truly unmistakable "Lissoni style". Versatile and intelligent, he left an indelible mark on some of the most important Italian brands, starting with his first collaborations with Living Divani and Boffi, companies of which he still remains the main signature. In addition to these, he is also the artistic director of the brands De Padova, Lema, Porro, Lualdi and of the luxury yachts Sanlorenzo. He has designed products for almost all the great brands of Italian design, from B&B Italia to Cassina, from Flos to Kartell, from Glas Italia to Cappellini. Over the years, his studio has also proved to be a great forge of talents: it is there that great names in design such as Patricia Urquiola, David Lopez Quincoces, Felicia Ferrone and many others took their first steps in the future.Read more
