From the hand of Richard Schultz Knoll has inherited a vast assortment of outdoor furniture, designed and built with the firmness of a solid, simple and functional design. The author designs each piece of the collection at the request of Florence Knoll, with the specific request that each element be able to withstand bad weather and atmospheric agents, in particular the brackish air of Florida. The result was an incredible variety of tables, coffee tables, chairs and armchairs that still stand out for their aesthetic taste. This rectangular model, made of aluminum and polyester, is not afraid of harsh climates as much as warmer ones, making it perfect in all conditions.

Few years later the Knoll Associates was founded. Today, Knoll is not only a company of re-selling historic furnishings of great artistic value, but continues to innovate by offering creations of the major international design brands both in the home area and in the office furnitures sector.Read more

Instead, the Petal and Leisure Line collections (now renamed "1966") bear his signature, considered the first example of real modern furniture for outdoor spaces in the history of American design and still today leading lines in the Knoll the outdoor. Renowned for both aesthetics and durability, these creations are also worthy of their author entry into the permanent collection of MoMA in New York.
