Illulian
Kintsugi Rug
Illulian company is known for its production of extremely high quality carpets, born from the love for the weaving translated into constant research into fibers and noble materials. Kintsugi belongs to the Design Collection line and is handmade with fine Himalayan wool, pure silk and vegetable colors. The name of this object already suggests a reference and a real artistic contamination with the Japanese art of repairing objects by inserting gold and other precious metals to ennoble and enhance the fragments then reunited into something new and old at the same time. Likewise, the cracks in the carpet are filled with gold filaments creating a unique and absolutely fascinating effect. Kintsugi can be made in two qualities, Platinum and Gold, depending on taste or need.
