Gallotti&Radice
Zed Mirror
Zed is a floor mirror designed by the Italian-Brazilian designer Ricardo Bello Dias for Gallotti & Radice. It rests on an ingenious self-supporting structure in folded metal and painted in the Umbrian Gray color. The mirror surface of Zed is therefore divided into two slabs connected by an obtuse angle, one high and perfectly perpendicular to the floor, the other smaller and hooked obliquely to the base. The Zed mirror thus assumes a plastic and imposing shape that recalls some of the best creations of the De Stijl artistic current, such as the famous Zig-Zag chair by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, explicitly referred to in the form of the support.* Technical features: natural mirror with Umbrian gray painted metal structure
