Gallotti&Radice
Soda Sideboard
A sideboard with an attractive design, which seems to recall 70s fashion while adding a touch of great modernity and aesthetic rigor. Soda has a lacquered wood structure in "elephant grey" color to which is added a door in tempered fused glass painted in amber color. Overall, the structure stands out for being both solid and impalpable, a monolith sculpted in glass from which it takes on the qualities and graceful nuances. The particular physiognomy of this element creates a unique, deliberately refined and soft atmosphere in any environment, ideal in living spaces or formal environments of great value. Gallotti&Radice succeeds here in creating something unique and sensational, the result of the creative genius of Draga&Aurel.

Gallotti&Radice was one the first Italian companies introducing the use of crystal in the creation of design furniture. The mastery in the processing of this complex and multifaceted material has characterized over the years the entire Gallotti&Radice production, in balance between sophisticated industrial technologies and craftsmanship, able to grant the maximum customization. The production of the brand is divided into two main directions: the home division, which offers a complete home styling, from sofas to tables, from chairs to lamps, and the office division, which explores the different potential of crystal for work environments.Read more
Designed by
Draga & Aurel
The Draga & Aurel studio, founded in Como by the Serbian Draga Obradovic (1964-) and the German Aurel K. Basedow (1963-), is one of the most interesting emerging realities in the world of contemporary design. Rejecting the rigidity of industrial design, the duo prefers to define hers as an art design activity, in which two independent artistic paths converge: fashion design for Draga, painting and drawing for Aurel. Their research begins with the recovery of old disused furniture, to which they are able to give new life through the use of resin and contamination of materials: this is how the Heritage collection was born, consisting of unique pieces that are both vintage and ultra-modern. And it is through this collection that the encounter with the Baxter brand takes place, which uses their creations as a special set-up for its showrooms such as the Baxter Cinema in Milan. With Baxter, Draga & Aurel also passed with great success to mass production, contributing decisively with their precious and finely retro touch to the brand identity. There is also an important collaboration with Wall & Decò wallpapers and the creation of capsule collections for luxury brands such as Visionnaire and Opera Contemporary.Read more
