Designed by the designer duo Gabriele & Oscar Buratti, the Oto table by Gallotti & Radice represents an original interpretation of the classic archetype of the round table supported by a single central leg. Following in the footsteps of Eero Saarinen, the great inventor of this type of tables, the Buratti brothers experimented with a slippage of the support leg, which in Oto is off-centered with respect to the top, thus giving life to an asymmetrical shape that changes effect depending on the point of observation. The choice of finishes gives the table an aura of elegance and preciousness that reaches the highest levels of opulence in the Oto Big version, made entirely of marble.* Technical features for the classic version: structure in glossy painted metal in black, blue, gray and licorice. Gabriele (1962-) and Oscar Buratti (1967-), architects and interior designers, are the founders of the Buratti Architetti studio. In the architectural field they can count a great variety of projects (in which the engineer Ivano Battiston partner of the firm collaborated until 2010), from residential villas to the retail sector, a field in which they have created the showrooms of many prestigious brands such as La Perla, Lamborghini, BMW and Husqvarna. Their activity in product design is also very wide and varied, with creations of great cleanliness and elegance that have become part of the catalogs of some of the most important brands in the sector such as Gallotti&Radice, Porada, B&B Italia, Acerbis, Porro, Lema, Living Divani, Driade, Paola Lenti, Alias, FontanaArte and many others. Gabriele Buratti can also boast an important academic career, having taught interior design for many years at the Politecnico of Milan.Read more
