The Livre armchair by Gallotti & Radice is one of the most successful results of the collaboration between the brand and the young designer Federica Biasi, one of the leading names of the new generation of promising Italian designers. Awarded a gold medal at the A’Design Award, Livre draws inspiration from shapes and suggestions from the Far East, where chairs with a base formed by bamboo cylinders tied with rope were in ancient use. In Livre this concept is revised in a more modern and refined way, while maintaining its peculiar constructive tension, while the seat takes on enveloping and rounded shapes. The upholstery is available in both fabric and leather, while in the Swivel version the base takes the shape of a perch with 360 ° swivel movement.* Technical features: base in black stained ash

Federica Biasi
Federica Biasi (1989-) is part of the "new wave" of young female brands that are revolutionizing contemporary Italian design. Her creations have sweet and soft shapes, imbued with a refinement that takes into account the most recent trends in Northern European design, absorbed during a learning period in Amsterdam carried out immediately after studying at the IED in Milan. Its qualities have been certified by various awards, such as the Rising Talent award at the Maison & Objet 2018 and the Elle Decor International Design Award as Young Talent of the Year in 2021. Federica Biasi is in charge of the artistic direction of the Mingardo brand, characterized by a fresh and contemporary aesthetic, and has worked with several famous Italian design brands such as Gallotti&Radice, Gervasoni, Frigerio and Lema.
