Lilas Armchair
The Lilas armchair by Gallotti & Radice is characterized by generous proportions and a large and welcoming seat. With its geometric and rigorously squared profile, but softened by the absence of edges and the roundness of the profiles, it is proposed as a passepartout chair suitable for both elegant domestic settings and for contract use in lounges and waiting rooms. The internal wooden core is made softer by the non-deformable polyurethane and fireproof polyester fiber padding, while differentiated density polyurethane is used to make the seat and back more comfortable. The upholstery is completely removable and covers the entire armchair, including the base. It can be made in both fabric and leather. The base can be fixed or swivel, with a return movement that reaches up to 180 °.

Gallotti&Radice was one the first Italian companies introducing the use of crystal in the creation of design furniture. The mastery in the processing of this complex and multifaceted material has characterized over the years the entire Gallotti&Radice production, in balance between sophisticated industrial technologies and craftsmanship, able to grant the maximum customization. Dainelli Studio is a design and interior design studio led by the husband and wife team Leonardo (1971-) and Marzia Dainelli (1977-). It was founded in 2007 in Pisa, Leonardo’s hometown, and later opened a branch in Milan in 2018: since then they have multiplied their collaborations with important furniture brands, making themselves known year after year as one of the most sought-after design studios by Italian companies. Their work has as its distinctive feature the search for refined harmonious shapes and a strong taste for precision in proportions, often full of delightful retro references, as can be seen both in their numerous residential and commercial interior design projects and in the furnishings designed for many important brands such as Cattelan Italia, among the first brands to believe in them since 2008, Giorgetti, Lema, Porada, Sirecom, Gebrüder Thonet, Fiam, London Art, Contardi and many others. The collaboration with Gallotti&Radice is particularly fruitful, for which in addition to the design of numerous products they also took care of the special “Casa Mia” installation, a peculiar project located in a period building in Milan and furnished entirely with the brand’s creations, capable of acting both as a welcoming showroom and as the Milanese home of the owner Silvia Gallotti.Read more
