The Birdie table lamp by Foscarini is a modern reinterpretation of the classic abat-jour. The large Birdie lampshade diffuses direct light downwards and surrounds the rest of the room with delicate and suffused lighting. Its distinctive stylistic element is the branch that starts laterally from the stem and which houses the touch ignition system, which can also be used as a dimmer to adjust the intensity of the light. The Birdie Easy variant, smaller and more compact, instead loses this twig and takes on more traditional and reassuring shapes. Finally, Birdie Zero further reduces the elements to the bone: here the whole lamp is summarized in the diffuser, placed directly on the top.
