Softbench Sofa
Version A
The Softbench sofa was born from the creative genius of Massimo Castagna, an example of dynamic and multifunctional use of upholstery that lends itself well to heterogeneous environments such as living rooms, bedrooms, studios and more. Softbench consists of basic elements that can be freely combined with each other so as to create infinite combinations of seats. The backrests are also mobile, not anchored to the main structure but ballasted to ensure solid support. The depth of each modular element allows you to create double-sided seats, chaise longues and more as needed. The range of possibilities is joined by the series of upholstery with rectangular or narrow quilting.

Designed by
Massimo Castagna
Massimo Castagna (1957-), founder of the AD Architettura studio, is an Italian architect and designer very skilled in exploiting the material and its characteristics, from stones to metals, to create his own personal and highly effective conception of luxury, perfectly in line with the latest international interior trends. Precious and monumental environments are his hallmark, permeated by a sense of solidity and richness, embellished with the sparkling reflections of brass and granite. An aesthetic that reaches its peak in collaboration with the Henge brand, but which is always found unmistakable also in its creations for brands such as Rossana RB, Exteta, Acerbis, Giorgetti, Ceccotti and Flou. His partnerships with Gallotti & Radice are also particularly fortunate, for which he has designed several high-impact products such as the Bolle lamp and has curated various settings for the Milanese flagship store, and with the Interni Design Experience group, with which he has measured himself with extraordinary success with the world of multi-brand retail.Read more
