Flou
Lotus Nightstand
Minimum profiles and thicknesses characterize the simple and functional design of the Lotus bedside table, designed by Emanuela Garbin for Flou. The curved metal structure gives lightness and stability to this piece of furniture equipped with three comfortable shelves and a useful drawer. The profile of the upper top can be customized with a leather top matched to the colors of the structure. The numerous finishes available, from metallic nuances to white, black and colors more decisive, make it easy to combine it with any type of bed and environment.

Flou was born in Meda in 1978 from the idea of the Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour Rosario Messina to make the culture of sleep an authentic personal mission. Emanuela Garbin – Studio Opera
Emanuela Garbin founded Studio Opera in 1990 together with Mario Dell’Orto and Enrico Cattaneo. The firm proposes itself as a multidisciplinary hub in which different experiences converge, from art direction to interior design to actual product design. Emanuela Garbin's marked sensitivity for colors, materials and fabrics finds few equals in the world of real design, bringing her closer to sensibilities more typical of the fashion world, and has made her a perfect partner for a brand like Flou that aims to renew every year its collections to always stay fresh and fashionable. For Flou Emanuela has been responsible for the image, fittings and showrooms for many years, as well as personally designing some products: her signature is largely the "Flou style", sophisticated but not pretentious, which has been so successful in the world. She also designed for several other brands, often flanked by Mario Dell’Orto: from Casamilano to Porada, from Poliform to Longhi. Garbin and Dell’Orto also took care of the fittings for the Salvioni Design Solutions showrooms in Inverigo and Lugano for a long time.Read more
