Bilboquet Table Lamp
Price € 280,00
Minimalist, simple and fun, Bilboquet is an example of a design that is not afraid to dare, but which always manages to stand out even in small stylistic research. Flos creates an adjustable table lamp with integrated LED bulb and cut-off for direct but comfortable lighting. The body of this lamp is made of a special pigmented polycarbonate derived from a by-product of paper rather than petroleum. In this sense therefore, Bilboquet is also an eco-friendly lamp, which respects the environment and tries to elegantly offer its aesthetic contribution to homes all over the world. The choice to make it orientable is interesting, so as to further improve the functional performance of the entire object.

Designed by
Philippe Malouin
Philippe Malouin (1982-), British designer of Canadian origins, is one of the most interesting figures on the contemporary design scene, so much so that he was nominated Designer of the Year in 2018 by the prestigious Wallpaper magazine. After graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, he worked for a few years in Tom Dixon's studio, then starting his own business in 2008. His style is based on an extreme emphasis and stylization of forms, taken to excess as in his famous Mollo armchair for Established & Sons or reduced to the bone as in the equally famous Arca chandelier that he created for Matter Made. In Malouin's creations the basic simplicity of the lines transcends to give life to something unexpected and always surprising, a style that can be clearly seen in the highly successful products he has designed for brands such as SCP, De Sede, Resident, Iittala, cc-Tapis, Please Wait to Be Seated and more.Read more
