Ethimo
Rotin Outdoor Sofa
Rotin was born as a lounge collection created to combine color and substance in a single solution with great aesthetic and visual impact. A new way of thinking and experiencing conviviality and daily relaxation leads Ethimo to the production of these elements with a pickled teak structure where a sofa, a lounge armchair, a coffee table and a pouf stand out. The sofa, in particular, seems to take inspiration from Asian tradition and the use of natural materials such as bamboo and expertly orchestrated fabrics to create a unique effect. The result is an apparently simple object, which embodies the very essence of purity and what can unmistakably be called design. A unique element therefore, which also lives on colors masterfully chosen to represent the most contemporary taste.

Designed by
Zanellato/Bortotto
Zanellato/Bortotto is a studio founded by the young Italian designers Giorgia Zanellato (1987-) and Daniele Bortotto (1988-). Both originally from the Triveneto region, they studied together at the IUAV in Venice and then launched their first joint project at the Salone Satellite in 2013: the “Acqua Alta” series, specifically dedicated to the city of Venice. The Veneto capital was also a source of inspiration for the first collection designed for a major brand, the “La Serenissima” furniture collection designed in 2014 for Moroso. The success of these projects convinced the duo to found a real studio in 2015, thus starting an upward trend that continues to this day. Their fresh and contemporary style has won over many important furniture brands: among the numerous partnerships, the most notable are those with Bolzan, an emerging brand dedicated to beds and the sleeping area for which they have designed several models in addition to the Milanese flagship store, and with De Castelli, a brand dedicated to exploring creative uses of metallic materials. Other brands with which the Zanellato/Bortotto studio has worked are, among others, Ethimo, Saba Italia, Novamobili, Louis Vuitton, Wall&Decò, cc-tapis and B-Line.Read more
