Mollo Armchair
Price starting from € 10.370,00*
*Price valid for the version with upholstery in fabric cat. 4 (cod. 7157).
Designed by Philippe Malouin for Established & Sons, the Mollo armchair represents a playful and enveloping form of furniture, where the curved lines dominate the scene in order to create a strongly distinctive seat that is impossible to confuse. Mollo also represents an informal furnishing style that abandons common aesthetic connotations to arrive at something simpler and more immediate, a backrest and a seat, devoid of any further frills or suggestions. Interesting is the structure made of plywood and the cushions in polyurethane foam. The covering is not removable and is available in different finishes to better adapt to the desired taste and style.
W.173 x D.118 x H.68 cm
Seat Height 44 cm

Established & Sons is a company born from the intention of creating a modern and trendy brand thanks to the contribution of young designers free to express their personal creative flair without limits or conceptual rigidity. The company's great ability consists precisely in making real the multitude of design ideas created to furnish the numerous rooms of the house and beyond. Light and usable, the line of each product easily fits into contexts of our time, from the most to the less formal, creating expressions of great emotion every time. The richness of the catalog also consists in experimentation, where a functional design is constantly combined with essential proposals full of a structural lightness that seems to wink at Nordic or Japanese style.Read more
Designed by
Philippe Malouin
Philippe Malouin (1982-), British designer of Canadian origins, is one of the most interesting figures on the contemporary design scene, so much so that he was nominated Designer of the Year in 2018 by the prestigious Wallpaper magazine. After graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, he worked for a few years in Tom Dixon's studio, then starting his own business in 2008. His style is based on an extreme emphasis and stylization of forms, taken to excess as in his famous Mollo armchair for Established & Sons or reduced to the bone as in the equally famous Arca chandelier that he created for Matter Made. In Malouin's creations the basic simplicity of the lines transcends to give life to something unexpected and always surprising, a style that can be clearly seen in the highly successful products he has designed for brands such as SCP, De Sede, Resident, Iittala, cc-Tapis, Please Wait to Be Seated and more.Read more
