Driade
Virgo Bookshelf
Price € 5.150,00
From the pen of Xavier Lust comes Virgo, a bookcase by Driade capable of arousing great amazement and wonder in any environment you decide to place it. Its atypical shapes are made of anodized aluminum, folded to give it the peculiar inclination from which it owes its name: Virgo, as a comma. This is a classic example of contemporary design, with shapes and lines aimed at creating an object that is not only aesthetically beautiful, but capable of communicating something more, a sense of tension and emotion together. Driade creates this object to furnish the living area, but it is also well suited to bedrooms or studios.

Designed by
Xavier Lust
Xavier Lust (1969-) is a Belgian designer and sculptor who loves to resort to twisted and daring forms, capable of revealing themselves to be statuesque and at the same time full of a strong sense of movement and tension. Originally from Bruges, he started designing furniture from a young age, already in 1990, just before graduating in interior design in Brussels. His creations in limited series, often made of metal, have been the protagonists of appreciated exhibitions all over the world, from the Ralph Pucci gallery in New York to the Nilufar gallery in Milan. There are also numerous projects proposed by him in series, among which those created for the MDF Italia brand stand out, one of the first to notice his talent and to believe in him. Other fruitful collaborations are those with Driade, Extremis, Fiam, Pianca and, in the past, De Padova and Baleri Italia.
