Vincenzo De Cotiis
Vincenzo De Cotiis (1958-) is one of the most popular Italian "art designers", whose limited series furnishings are one of the highlights of what is probably the most famous design gallery in the world, the London-based Carpenter's Workshop. At the heart of De Cotiis' design reflection, also carried forward in his exhibition space in the center of Milan, is the close relationship between the furnishings and the environment: De Cotiis is in fact also a renowned interior designer capable of skilfully contextualizing his sculptural and magniloquent creations. Now active only in the field of collectibles, in the past he has worked with a select number of renowned Italian brands - Baxter and Ceccotti - creating products that are still among their bestsellers.
