Soft Corners Ottoman
Price starting from € 1.330,00*
*Price valid for the version in W.35 x D.29 cm with upholstery in fabric cat. E (cod. 507 01).
From the creative genius of Linde Freya Tangelder was born the Soft Corners pouf, a playful interweaving of volumes that seems to wink at both the softness and the geometricity of furnishing. The volumes of this element are structured to combine perfectly with each other, giving life to organic and multipurpose elements, where a playful and free soul is strongly perceived, driven by a desire to play and design in a different and new way. Each Soft Corners block can be used individually or combined with others based on the three available variants: rectangular, low rectangular and "L" square. Each part is made up of a wooden structural element onto which soft padded rubbers are then inserted to guarantee softness and flexibility. There are numerous colors available, with and without drawings, to create unique and highly personalized compositions in every part.
W.35 x D.29 x H.44 cm
Available also in W.45 x D.45 x H.44 cm and in W.120 x D.75 x H.33 cm

Founded in 1927 by the brothers Cesare and Umberto in the heart of Brianza furniture, Cassina is one of the long-lived Made in Italy industrial design companies. From the early ‘30s, Cassina brothers identified the strong demand for home furnishings and interpreted in a far-sighted way the renewed taste of the new emerging classes. From this intuition, Cassina started a real revolution in the indoor furnishings design. Since then, the company has been pursuing a path of research and innovation, involving prestigious designers and architects in the study of new furnishings models. In the last few years the collaboration with Gio Ponti has begun. Thanks to this partnership were born the 646 chair, known as Leggera, and the subsequent model 699 or Superleggera.Read more

Linde Freya Tangelder
Linde Freya Tangelder (1987-), Dutch designer and founder of the Antwerp studio Destroyers/Builders, has emerged in recent years as one of the most interesting emerging young names on the international design scene and was named “Young Designer of the Year” at the 2023 Elle Decor International Design Awards. The work of Destroyers/Builders consists of a series of limited-edition furnishings intended for the niche “collectibles” market, creations with a strong sculptural impact that take up the typical plastic values of architecture on a small scale, pronouncedly material and also very attentive to tactile suggestions. An elitist design style that has not been abandoned even in her first creations intended for mass production, the result of a collaboration with a brand like Cassina, which is historically known for the wide expressive freedom left to young design talents. Linde Freya Tangelder has also worked with the Belgian brand Valerie Objects and was a founding member of the design collective BRUT in 2017.Read more
