Squared
Price starting from € 4.825,00*
*Price valid for the squared version W.150 x D.150 cm with top in float transparent glass and frame in steel (cod. W02 04).
Designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1941, this masterpiece takes form by another bestseller, the Doge table, both in the Ultrarazionale collection. While sharing the same material characteristics with the former, the new Sarpi base is overturned and of reduced dimensions to allow it to be used even in small spaces. In 2009 Tobia Scarpa added to the original rectangular, octagonal, square and round tops, the new “Elistella”, whose rounded shape is cleverly designed on the basis of the Bernoulli spiral. A design element capable of associating form with supreme aesthetic taste, where each element integrates with itself and with the surrounding environment.

Founded in 1927 by the brothers Cesare and Umberto in the heart of Brianza furniture, Cassina is one of the long-lived Made in Italy industrial design companies. From the early ‘30s, Cassina brothers identified the strong demand for home furnishings and interpreted in a far-sighted way the renewed taste of the new emerging classes. From this intuition, Cassina started a real revolution in the indoor furnishings design. Since then, the company has been pursuing a path of research and innovation, involving prestigious designers and architects in the study of new furnishings models. In the last few years the collaboration with Gio Ponti has begun. Thanks to this partnership were born the 646 chair, known as Leggera, and the subsequent model 699 or Superleggera.Read more

It was in those years that he met Dino Gavina, a visionary entrepreneur, for whose brand Simon (now part of the Cassina catalog) will create all his most famous furnishings.Read more
