Inspired by the figurative and conceptual mastery of Le Corbusier, the Collection of Reaction Poetique coffee tables designed by the designer Jaime Hayon also seem to find a place in the paintings of Esprit Nouveau, where primordial beauty and stylistic elegance are intertwined in an endless whole. The interesting use of a unique material material succeeds in the difficult task of demonstrating how it is possible to create high-end design even without using different materials in favor of shapes, weaves and workmanship of extreme value. Designed for a modern and functional home environment, Jaime Hayon's coffee tables are at the same time an example of the successful craftsmanship and stylistic fusion of which Cassina is often the spokesperson.

Founded in 1927 by the brothers Cesare and Umberto in the heart of Brianza furniture, Cassina is one of the long-lived Made in Italy industrial design companies. From the early ‘30s, Cassina brothers identified the strong demand for home furnishings and interpreted in a far-sighted way the renewed taste of the new emerging classes. From this intuition, Cassina started a real revolution in the indoor furnishings design. Since then, the company has been pursuing a path of research and innovation, involving prestigious designers and architects in the study of new furnishings models. In the last few years the collaboration with Gio Ponti has begun. Thanks to this partnership were born the 646 chair, known as Leggera, and the subsequent model 699 or Superleggera.Read more

Jaime Hayon
Jaime Hayon (1974-) is a Spanish artist and designer, one of the most important names in the panorama of contemporary design. After his studies in Madrid and Paris, he took his first steps in the world of design as a teacher at the Fabrica research center in Treviso, founded by the Benetton family and Oliviero Toscarini, and then revealed himself to the world with the exhibition "Mediterranean Digital Baroque" at the David Gill Gallery in London. In the field of furniture he has worked with brands such as BD Barcelona Design, Fritz Hansen, Magis, Viccarbe, Ceccotti, Wittmann, Moooi, Cassina and many others, with furniture to which its typical wavy and light sign gives a strong charge of expressiveness. However, it is in the design of the object that he is able to unleash all his disruptive creativity, giving life to colorful and playful accessories that often take the form of real sculptures, made for brands such as Bosa, Paola C., Lladrò and Vista Alegre.Read more
