Naan Dining Table
Extendable
Price starting from € 5.661,00*
*Price valid for the extendable version W.180 – 230 x D.95cm in smoked oak (cod. 195 12).
Piero Lissoni designs the Naan table, simultaneously developing two opposing trends based on visual lightness and structural solidity of the piece of furniture. The thickness of the rectangular top of only 10 mm and made in different finishes, accentuates its extreme formal rigor without imperfections and unnecessary stylistic frivolities. In this model, Cassina's craftsmanship tradition and industrial approach are strong, combined in giving an indisputable value to this work where, more than ever, the accuracy of every detail is perceived. Inserted within the "I Contemporanei" collection, Naan lends itself to many furnishing interpretations, further enriched by the availability of extendable tops.

Founded in 1927 by the brothers Cesare and Umberto in the heart of Brianza furniture, Cassina is one of the long-lived Made in Italy industrial design companies. From the early ‘30s, Cassina brothers identified the strong demand for home furnishings and interpreted in a far-sighted way the renewed taste of the new emerging classes. From this intuition, Cassina started a real revolution in the indoor furnishings design. Since then, the company has been pursuing a path of research and innovation, involving prestigious designers and architects in the study of new furnishings models. In the last few years the collaboration with Gio Ponti has begun. Thanks to this partnership were born the 646 chair, known as Leggera, and the subsequent model 699 or Superleggera.Read more

Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni (1956-) is one of the most appreciated contemporary Italian designers. In addition to his furnishings, with a rigorous and elegant minimalism, he combines the ability to build and communicate the identity of the brands he collaborates with at 360 °, creating a truly unmistakable "Lissoni style". Versatile and intelligent, he left an indelible mark on some of the most important Italian brands, starting with his first collaborations with Living Divani and Boffi, companies of which he still remains the main signature. In addition to these, he is also the artistic director of the brands De Padova, Lema, Porro, Lualdi and of the luxury yachts Sanlorenzo. He has designed products for almost all the great brands of Italian design, from B&B Italia to Cassina, from Flos to Kartell, from Glas Italia to Cappellini. Over the years, his studio has also proved to be a great forge of talents: it is there that great names in design such as Patricia Urquiola, David Lopez Quincoces, Felicia Ferrone and many others took their first steps in the future.Read more
