The original carpet The Floor is Lava, designed by PLACéE and produced by Carpet Edition, takes inspiration from the natural phenomenon of lava flow. Three models, with unconventional and unstructured shapes, with colors borrowed from nature or inspired by the digital world, create a design with a very suggestive melted effect. This rug hand-tufted by skilled artisans is made of New Zealand wool and eco-sustainable Tencel and uses broken-down and shaped lines combined with lively and intense colors that transmit pure energy, in open dialogue with contemporary art and culture. The Floor is Lava is a pop-inspired carpet that can be used in private residences or public places to obtain a strong characterization of the environments.
